Why Choose Gateway?

"We
are so thankful to have found Gateway!" - Debbie

As
a parent, one of my top priorities is making sure my child gets a good education
and "succeeds." As a home schooling parent, I am constantly seeking to improve
my methods. Questions like these used to go through my mind:
- My child
is doing well, but is it good enough?
- Is there a product, curriculum,
program, or method that would work better at helping my child excel?
- Will
his efforts 'pay off' and allow him entrance and success at a good college?
- Do
I have what it takes to teach him through high school? If not, then what?"

Gateway Preparatory School can help make home schooling your junior-high
and high school students hassle-free. With Gateway, you won't need to worry about
college entrance, scholarships, curriculum choices, or teaching study skills.
You won't have to struggle to grade papers on unfamiliar subjects. (Who remembers
calculus and physics?) The Gateway Program involves the parents without burdening
them. We want to turn a few mature, self-motivated, self-reliant kids into great
students and learners. Our vision is to provide a high standard, simple, technology-enhanced
educational alternative to conventional curriculums and government-directed education
in public schools. Gateway is a REAL school, chartered by the State of Texas as
a non-profit corporation, a member of the College Board with a recognized diploma.
Gateway is founded on a Judeo-Christian World View, offering courses in New Testament,
Bible and Christianity, Bible Survey, and World Religions as electives. Bible
courses are recommended but not required.
Using the techniques developed
by Gateway Founders, Dr. Beasley and Mr. Berg, Gateway graduates have gone on
to Duke University, Baylor University, Texas Christian University, Texas A & M
University, University of North Texas, University of Texas at Arlington, and many
others. One Gateway student actually graduated from Dallas Community College with
her Associates Degree two weeks before she graduated from Gateway with her high
school diploma.
